SV Equine Therapy · Quick Start Guide

ACTIVE Hoof LED Light Therapy Pad

Five easy steps to get started

Read the complete user manual before first use.

1. Charge your hoof boot

With the boot switched off, connect the supplied USB cable to the Type-C port and a compatible USB power source. Charge before first use, then disconnect the cable before fitting or operating the boot.

Built-in rechargeable battery: 1,800 mAh. Recharge if the LEDs appear dim.

2. Position the boot

Choose a safe, calm location. Clean and dry the hoof, then fit the boot comfortably while it is switched off. Do not fasten tightly or restrict circulation. Stay with your horse throughout the session.

3. Choose your light mode

Continuous · Green indicator

Press the power button briefly. Further short presses cycle through:

  1. Red + near-infrared
  2. Red only
  3. Near-infrared only
  4. Off

Pulse · Blue indicator

With the boot off, hold the power button for more than 3 seconds until the indicator is blue. Short presses cycle through:

  1. Red + near-infrared pulsing
  2. Red pulsing only
  3. Near-infrared pulsing only
  4. Off

Near-infrared light (850 nm) is invisible to the eye; LEDs may look unlit in near-infrared-only mode.

4. Complete your session

Automatic shutoff: 15 minutes. The manufacturer's general guidance is 1–2 sessions daily for at least one week, where appropriate. Introduce the boot gradually with shorter sessions if your horse is sensitive. This is not a veterinary treatment prescription.

Stop and remove the boot safely if your horse shows discomfort, repeatedly lifts its leg or attempts to kick. Seek veterinary advice for hoof pain, suspected infection, abscesses or lameness.

5. Clean and store

Switch off. Gently wipe the LED/PVC area with a lightly damp cloth; use a damp cloth or lint roller on fabric. Never immerse or machine wash. Air-dry completely and store in the drawstring bag in a clean, dry place above 5°C (41°F). Do not sharply fold the LED area.

Important safety reminders

  • Never leave your horse unattended while the boot is in use.
  • Never look directly at the LEDs.
  • The LEDs can become warm. Monitor for discomfort.
  • Do not use a damaged boot or charging cable, and do not operate while charging.
  • Photobiomodulation is not a replacement for veterinary assessment or hoof care.
